Questions about the process
Before you commission your appraisal online, you must first obtain the consent of the vehicle provider for the appraisal. A verbal agreement is completely sufficient. However, this is absolutely necessary in order to be able to carry out an inspection and to avoid unnecessary costs on your part. In addition, in the event of a refusal of an inspection, you can assume that there are defects in the vehicle not specified by the seller. You should therefore think carefully about whether you really want to purchase the vehicle in this case.
Now that you have decided on one of our services and you have the consent of the seller, now follows the order process - this can be done exclusively online and not by phone. The process is only possible online, as you will later also be provided with the appraisal in your customer account. First you have to click on the order button for the service you require, then create a customer account on our website and specify the payment method you wish to use. This is followed by entering the vehicle data as well as the details of the vehicle location and –provider. Please fill in the fields as accurately as possible. This will help us (and yourself) as there will be no unnecessary queries due to unclear details. If you have any special requests, please enter them in the "Comments" field.
After sending, the order goes on hold with us until we have received a confirmation of payment from you. Therefore, we need proof of payment from you as soon as possible. A simple screenshot is sufficient here, which you can send to us by e-mail, stating the order number.
After we have received confirmation of receipt of payment, your order will be released by us and forwarded to our disposition. This then assigns your order to an inspector on site – this process normally takes no longer than half a working day. As soon as the assignment of an inspector for your order has taken place, you will automatically be sent an e-mail. In addition to this, you can also view the processing status of your order in your customer account.
Following the assignment, our automotive expert will attempt to contact the provider of your vehicle as soon as possible and arrange an appraisal appointment. After this is clarified, the inspection of your vehicle usually takes place relatively promptly. If any problems arise within this time, you will be informed by e-mail. A clarification and decision by you can then be made in the customer account.
After the inspection, the expert will prepare a report, which will be made available to you promptly in the customer account. Please note that both the preparation and the inspection of the expert opinion take a certain amount of time and therefore the document cannot be handed over to you directly after the inspection.
Normally, the entire process is completed within a few working days, however, in special cases - this concerns mainly specific requests - delays may also occur for various reasons. Please also note that checks can generally only be carried out on working days. An audit on Saturdays is only possible in exceptional cases.

3. You will receive a report summarizing all statements made by the seller.
This will include the following information:
- Location terms
- Vehicle data
- Vehicle history
- Vehicle condition (visual condition inside and out, technical function, accident damage)
- Tires
- Framework conditions for the sale
4. Based on this information, you can decide whether it is worthwhile to inspect the vehicle on site or to hire an expert to inspect it.

Based on this information, it can be assessed whether the condition of the vehicle corresponds to that of the advertisement and whether the purchase price is appropriate.

- he checks the function of all equipment features
- he performs a thorough inspection of the vehicle, a test drive and a test run of the drive unit
- he measures the paint thicknesses on all parts of the body for accident testing
- he examines the underbody of the vehicle, if a lifting platform is available.

Then the expert begins with the functional and visual inspection of the vehicle, which he documents in parallel with the taking of photos.
During the inspection:

- documents these with a detailed photo series
- checks the function of all equipment features
- carries out a thorough inspection of the vehicle, a small test drive and a test run of the drive unit
- measures the paint thicknesses on all parts of the body for accident testing
- examines the underbody of the vehicle, if a lifting platform is available.

After the inspection, the expert will then prepare an expert opinion, which will be made available to you promptly in the customer account. Please note that both the preparation and the control of the expert opinion take a certain amount of time and therefore the expert opinion cannot be handed over to you immediately after the inspection.
The order duration varies depending on the type of vehicle and the type of service. For a PKW Check, the complete processing of your order usually takes a few business days. A prerequisite for this is, of course, the quick conclusion of an inspection appointment with the owner of the vehicle.
For all other appraisals, the preparation takes a little longer, because in the case of a Premium Check, the research in databases to determine the market value is added. For all other types of vehicles (oldtimers, caravans, motorcycles, commercial vehicles) are special vehicles, which also leads to a longer processing time due to the increased effort.
After being commissioned, a motor vehicle expert will arrange an inspection appointment with the seller of the vehicle to be inspected. How quickly this appraisal can be completed varies from individual to individual and depends on several factors:
- Receipt of payment: The order will only be released for processing once receipt of payment has been confirmed. If you pay in advance, we recommend that you send us proof of payment by email so that the order can be released promptly. For all other payment methods, we automatically receive a payment confirmation from the respective credit institution.
- Location of the vehicle: Depending on where the vehicle to be inspected is located, we will assign a local appraiser to your order. This schedules his inspection appointments usually a few days in advance, so that the appointment is dependent on his schedule.
- Cooperation of the seller / dealer / vehicle owner: In addition, the appointment is of course also dependent on the vehicle provider, as this must agree with the appraisal and possibly want to be present at the inspection appointment.
As soon as the expert has been able to arrange an appointment with the owner of the vehicle, you will receive an e-mail with the exact date of the inspection appointment. If the agreed date is too late for you, you can withdraw the order yourself in your customer account under the menu item "Orders".
After placing the order on your part, the order is in waiting position on our platform until we can determine a receipt of payment for your order. Therefore, we need proof of payment from you as soon as possible. A simple screenshot is sufficient here, which you can send to us by e-mail, stating the order number.
After activation, your order will be forwarded to our disposition, from where it will be assigned to one of our local automotive experts. He or she will then promptly schedule a inspection appointment with the seller of your vehicle. At said appointment, whether these are indeed the appraisal conditions specified by you and the seller and note them in the protocol. The assessor will make an optimal assessment under the conditions prevailing on site.
After the inspection follows the preparation of the appraisal report. Please note that this process takes some time, as these are high quality appraisals, and therefore can not be provided immediately.
Should you decide for a damage appraisal, it is initially a free inquiry. After that, a motor vehicle expert will contact you promptly and advise you. The order will only be charged after consultation with the expert and acceptance of the offer. The commissioning of a damage appraisal can be made exclusively via our inquiry form.
The process of the check is the same as that of a premium check. A damage assessment includes:
- a detailed functional test and inspection of the accident vehicle on site
- a damage value or hull appraisal with analysis of the accident
- a detailed photo documentation
- a repair cost estimate, reduced value information and residual value information on the accident vehicle
- a paint thickness measurement at all relevant points of the body
- as well as a damage value calculation (eg for defect claims).
After the completion of your order, you will receive an e-mail from us informing you about the release of the appraisal.
